This project involved fire system upgrades to the Bligh and Hutchison accommodation blocks at the University of Sydney, delivered within fully operational student residences.
Our team carefully planned and staged the works to minimise disruption to residents while maintaining continuous fire protection throughout the upgrade process. All systems were updated in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, with a strong focus on reliability, documentation, and compliance.
Working within live accommodation environments required clear communication, strict safety controls, and close coordination with site stakeholders to ensure the safety of students and staff at all times.
This project demonstrates our experience delivering fire system upgrades within university accommodation settings, where compliance, occupant safety, and operational continuity are critical.
